Free Advice and Help at New Centre

A Community advice centre has set up home in a charity furniture store.

The Home Shop, on Freeman Street, Grimsby, is a furniture re-use operation which hosts a guest room for various services including the Community Advice Service.

The service has its headquarters at the Second Avenue Resource Centre, in Nunsthorpe, and is delighted to have opened a satellite centre, which will make it accessible to more people.

The service offers free advice and help on housing, benefits and debt issues, all with confidentiality.

The Home Shop is part of the Community Chest, which has its main base on Kent Street, in the town. Read more>
