About us
A Community Based Service
We currently have a team of 14 people working at CAS, a mixture of paid staff and volunteers.
Our Service Manager is also our "in house" Specialist Housing Advisor with nearly ten years of advice experience.
Our Welfare Rights Caseworker also undertakes General Casework and offers advice to both the public and professionals.
Our Debt Specialist Caseworker has over 15 years experience in this field and is highly respected in her field. We are able to offer this service with support from North East Lincolnshire Council.
Our Generalist Adviser provides advice, advocacy and undertakes casework in debt, housing and welfare benefits.
We also have two part time advisers who provide advice and support to anyone aged 60 or over. We are able to do this through the Keep Warm Eat Well campaign that we are currently running in partnership with Citizens Advice Bureau, Care Trust Plus and North East Lincolnshire Council.
We are also able to offer Home Visits for anyone aged 60 or over and have difficulties getting to our offices or outreach sessions.Finally we have two part time administrative staff who provide much needed support to both our advisers and our clients.
